y=1/3x+2

Explanation:

To make a line perpendicular the slope has to be the opposit reciprocal.

1. put in y=mx+b form. 3x+y=2

y=2-3x --> y=-3x+2

2. Find opposit reciprocal

-3 opposit = 3

3 recripical = 1/3

y=1/3x+2 (the 2 can be any number really)
