LN = MP = 9 units

Explanation:

In rectangle LMNP, LN and MP are diagonals .

Measures of the diagonals of a rectangle are equal.

Therefore,

MP = LN

2x - 9 = x

2x - x = 9

x = 9

LN=x = 9 units

MP=2x-9 = 2*9 - 9 = 18 - 9 = 9 units
