I just need help understanding linear equations and linear graphs with the equation: y=1/3x+3 Please explain the process

1/3x let’s us the slope of the line is going up one and over three between each point. The +3 lets us know that the line will be located three points above the origin aka the middle/0,0 of the graph. Continuing this pattern will give you a positive linear line. The equation doesn’t make it so the line curves
