50 POINTS!!!! Discussion Topic

Between 1915 and 1945, the United States went through World War I, the
booming 1920s, the Great Depression of the 1930s, and World War II. Although this
time period was traumatic for many Americans, it also transformed the US
identity. Think of the 1920s in contrast with the Great Depression of the 1930s.
Which of these two time periods do you think has had a bigger impact on the
development of US society, either from a political or cultural viewpoint? Explain
why. Please put in your own words if you don’t let me know so I can thank you.

Answer:

The Great Depression had a greater impact on the US, no one wants to go back to their lowest point. The US hustles to not fall short or even come close to the economic status they were at during the 1930s.
