2x+7y

Explanation:

4x + 2y -3x + x + 5y, seperated into 2 groups:

4x -3x + 1x Just take the x's away, leaving with 4-3+1, which is obviously 2.

do the same with the y's.

2y + 5y= 2+5=7

Add back the x's and y's.

2x, 7y.
