\cfrac{AB}{AC}=\cfrac{AL}{AM}\implies \cfrac{5+8}{x+10}=\cfrac{8}{10}\implies \cfrac{13}{x+10}=\cfrac{4}{5}\implies 65=4x+40 \\\\\\ 25=4x\implies \cfrac{25}{4}=x\implies 6(1)/(4)=x
