Answer:

x=
(-8y -6)/(7)

Explanation:

Step 1: Add (-1)/2x to both sides.

−3x − 4y +
(-1)/(2) x =
(1)/(2) x +
(-1 )/(2) x

Step 2: Add 4y to both sides.

(-7)/(2) x - 4y + 4y = 3 + 4y

(-7)/(2) x = 4y + 3

Step 3: Divide both sides by (-7)/2.

(-7 )/(2) x

= 4y+3

(-7)/(2)
(-7)/(2)

Answer:

answer is x=-2, y=2

Explanation:

y=-3x-4,

y=1/2x+3

now plug in any points for x for both equations. I will plug in both x as 0.

y=-3(0)-4

y=-4

(0,-4)

y=1/2(0)+3

y=3

(0,3)

We have points now to plot on a graph.

Continue what I did. Maybe plug in 1 for x for both equations.

Hope this helps!
