Final answer:

For 45 hours of work in a week, Dino earns $451.25 whereas Len earns $448.50. Hence, Dino is paid more than Len.

Step-by-step explanation:

If both Dino and Len work 45 hours in one week, we can calculate their earnings including the overtime pay to determine who is paid more. Dino's regular hourly wage is $9.50, so for the first 40 hours he earns $9.50 × 40 = $380. His overtime pay is time and a half, which is $9.50 × 1.5 = $14.25 per hour for the additional 5 hours, so his overtime earnings are $14.25 × 5 = $71.25. Dino's total earnings for 45 hours would be $380 + $71.25 = $451.25.

Len's regular hourly wage is $9.20, so for the first 37.5 hours he earns $9.20 × 37.5 = $345. His overtime pay is also time and a half, which is $9.20 × 1.5 = $13.80 per hour for the additional 7.5 hours, so his overtime earnings are $13.80 × 7.5 = $103.50. Len's total earnings for 45 hours would be $345 + $103.50 = $448.50.

Comparing their total earnings for the week, Dino is paid $451.25 and Len is paid $448.50. Therefore, Dino is paid more than Len for working 45 hours in that week.
