Every time I read this book, I cry. IT IS AS IF THE AUTHOR KNOWS EVERYTHING THAT WOULD UPSET ME, AND SHE DELIBERATELY WRITES THE STORY ABOUT THOSE THINGS. Still, I think this is my favorite book in the whole world. It's filled with adventure, romance, and betrayal. I read it at least once a year!
