The perimeter of a kite is 80 cm. If one side is 4 cm less than three times the other, find the length of each side

Answer:

4 sides are 11cm , 29cm , 11cm , 29 cm

Explanation:

because perimeter is equals to sum of all four sides of kite

so,

let one side be x

and other side be 3x - 4

so perimeter = x + ( 3x - 4 ) + x + ( 3x - 4 )

80cm = 8x - 8

88cm = 8x

11cm = x

x = 11cm

3x - 4 = 3Ă—11 -4

= 29cm

so sides are 11cm and 29cm
