There's no definite way to know if he's faithful or not, I'm doing long distance too and I have full trust that my partner wouldn't cheat on me which is something people respect. You just need to have faith that he'll do the right thing and don't jump to conclusions immediately. He could be friends with other girls (nothing more) and that's okay, me and my partner will have been together for 5 months on the 27th of this month and it's going great atm, so I'd say it does, just trust him and if he treats you wrong or gaslights you (making it seem like nothing is his fault and is only yours) he's toxic and you should leave him. If you wanted you could talk to him about it and work something out, texting, face timing, calling him more, etc.
