Answer:
y-(-4) = -6(x-7) (or
y+4 = -6(x-7))

Explanation:

Point-slope form is
y-y_(1) = m(x-x_(1)). Y and X are the current X and Y values. M is the slope. X
_(1) and Y
_(1) are the X and Y values of points along the line.

So to convert your point and slope into point-slope form, you have to plug in your values. First of all, replace the M, which is the slope, with your value of m: -6.

At this point, the equation is
y-y_(1) = -6(x-x_(1)).

Now you plug in the X and Y values of points along the line. Replace X
_(1) with 7, because that's the X value of the ordered pair you were given. Then, replace Y
_(1) with the Y value of your ordered pair, which is -4.

Now, the equation is
y-(-4) = -6(x-7).

(Lastly, on the left side of the equation, you're subtracting a negative number, which is the same of adding a positive number. You can change that part to
y + 4 instead. However this answer might not be the answer your teacher/course wants, because it's not TOTALLY in point-slope form.)

Hopefully this helps! Best of luck!
