Solving a problem with a fraction is the same as the fact that you are calculating how much of a number would get in a number. Ex. 2 will go to 4 2 times. 1/2 would go into 4, 8 times. It is different, in fact, that you are calculating how much a fraction would go into a number rather than natural numbers.

Solving an equation with a fraction isn't much different than solving an equation full of whole numbers. You group the variable terms on one side, the constants on the other, and then simplify
