90-x+3x-10=180

What would be the answer to this please and give step by step if it's not to much to ask for.

90 - x + 3x - 10 = 180


(90 - 10) + ( - x + 3x) = 180


80 + 2x = 180


2x = 180 - 80 = 100


x = (100)/(2) = 50

Answer: x = 50

a. Add all like terms: 80+2x = 180
b. Move all constant terms to the answer’s side: 2x = 180
c. Divide both sides by same number: 2x/2= x= 180/2
d. Answer: x= 90
