y=7x+22

Explanation:

the equation of a line is y=mx+b

we know that 7 is m so

y=7x+b

but we got to find b

so we use the point (-3,1) and substitute in our equation

1=7(-3)+b

lets find b

1= -21+b

22=b

okay then we found b now lets go to our original problem and substitute b

y=7x+22
