The balanced equation for the formation of sodium chloride (NaCl) is:

2Na + Cl2 → 2NaCl

From the equation, we can see that 2 moles of sodium react with 1 mole of chlorine to produce 2 moles of sodium chloride.

Since we have 4 moles of chlorine, we can calculate the moles of sodium chloride produced by using the ratio of moles from the balanced equation.

4 moles Cl2 * (2 moles NaCl / 1 mole Cl2) = 8 moles NaCl

So, from 2 moles of sodium and 4 moles of chlorine, you can obtain 8 moles of sodium chloride.
