The value of cos F to the simplest fraction is 4/5

Trigonometric ratio is the relationship between the sides of a right angled triangle.

Some of the trigonometric functions are sin, cos , tan e.t.c

In trigonometry, the value of cosθ is expressed as

cosθ = adj/hyp

In the diagram , the adjascent to angle F is line FG.

using Pythagorean theorem to find line FG

FG = √ 30² - 18²

= √576

= 24

cos F = 24/30

= 4/5

Therefore the value of cosF to the simplest term is 4/5.
