So I learned that in the glomerulus, everything smaller than the RBCs is filtered out, but I had learned previously that - Blood needs plasma, water medium to flow. So if its drained out into the Bowman's Capsule, how does the blood leave the efferent arteriole.

Could anyone please clarify, Thank you.

Final answer:

When blood enters the kidney, it passes through the glomerulus where substances are filtered into Bowman's capsule and then into the renal tubule. The efferent arteriole continues the process of nephron functioning.

Step-by-step explanation:

When blood enters the kidney through the renal artery, it branches into capillaries and passes through the glomerulus, where high blood pressure forces water and dissolved substances to cross the capillary walls into Bowman's capsule. This filtered substance, called filtrate, then passes to the renal tubule, where some substances are reabsorbed into the bloodstream and others are secreted into the fluid. The efferent arteriole, which follows the renal tubule, continues to play roles in nephron functioning.
