The surface area of the triangular prism is 60
in.^(2)

To find the surface area of the triangular prism,

Total surface area = 2(b*h) + (s1 + s2 + s3)l

Where Base,b = 8/2 = 4 inches

Height, h = 3 inches

s1 = 5 inches

s2 = 5 inches

s3 = 8 inches

l = 2 inches

Surface area of the triangular prism = 2(4 * 3) + (5 + 5 + 8)2

Surface area of the triangular prism = 2(12) + (18)2

Surface area of the triangular prism = 24 + 36

Surface area of the triangular prism = 60
in.^(2)

Therefore, the surface area of the triangular prism is 60
in.^(2)
