Discuss an occasion when you have used observational learning with someone you look up to; for example, as a child, you looked up to an older athlete for how to play basketball. Be sure to explain how the stages of observational learning (Attention, Memorization, Imitation, and Motivation) were experienced in your example. Additionally, in reference to your example, share any factors that increased the likelihood of observational learning occurring.

Answer: Everyone growing up as a child had someone they looked up to and I wasn't an exception as regards this. Adults did stuff that we saw as a thrilling and enjoyable.

Step-by-step explanation:

Everyone growing up as a child had someone they looked up to and I wasn't an exception as regards this. Adults did stuff that we saw as a thrilling and enjoyable. One of the things that I learnt by observation was sports. I loved football so well and began following the game form a tender age, I had players I look up to, and how I learnt from them was by observation especially on television. I'll see them do a new skill, I'll pay attention, possibly watch it severally, memorize it and go out to the field to practise same skill. Those players were a motivation to me and by observation I learnt how to play football very well. What could increase observational learning among children is for their teachers/guardians to identify what they love the most and are passionate about.
