In the video, we solved another kind of problem with percents. We had the

part of critics who liked the movie My Giant (5) and the percent that this
represents (20%). We needed to find the total number of critics who
reviewed the movie, or the whole. We set up two equivalent fractions:
20/100, which shows the percent, and 5?, which represents the part and the
whole. We can also solve this problem other ways. For example, we can set
up an algebraic equation: .2w = 5. This equation shows that 20% of the
whole, or 2 times the whole, equals 5.
7 critics liked the sequel to My Giant. This represents 10% of all critics. How many
critics reviewed it in all?
