From the question, we have the following parameters that can be used in our computation:

The total area of the Triangular Prism can be calculated using the following formula

Surface Area = Bl + bh

Where

B = Perimeter of the triangle

l = Length of the prism

b = base of the triangle

h = height of the triangle

From the figures, we have:

B = (24 + 37 + 37) = 98 cm

l = 45 cm

b = 24 cm

h = 35 cm

Using the above as a guide, we have the following:

Surface area = 35 * 24 + 98 * 45

Surface Area = 840 + 4410

Evaluate

Surface area = 5250

Hence. the total area of the figure is 5250 square cm
