During the meeting, Percival started crying. Why did all the littluns begin crying after him? (Lord of The Flies)

All the littluns cried as well because they were scared about he stuck on an island. They also felt comfortable crying since Percival was the crybaby of the group.

FYI: Percival is the first kid to die in LOTF.
