Explanation:

that is totally easy.

in the slope intercept form of a line equation the factor of x is always the slope.

in general

y = ax + b

a = the slope.

so, in our case here

y = 5x - 7

5 is the slope.

and -7 is the y intercept (at what point does the line intercept the y-axis; that is the y value when x = 0).
