If Kim, Morgan's first choice in a ranked choice voting system, is eliminated, her vote goes to her second choice, Parker.

When Morgan votes in a ranked choice voting election and marks the ballot with Kim as the first choice, Parker as the second, and Bailey as the third, and if Kim is eliminated, Morgan's vote then goes to her second choice, Parker.

This is because in a ranked choice voting, also known as Instant Run-Off Voting (IRV), the ballots of voters whose first choice was eliminated are recounted using their next preference. Thus, if Kim is eliminated, Morgan's second choice, Parker, will receive her vote.
