18x - 44 = 180 - (8x - 10) [angle corresponding to 18x-44 and supplementary to 8x - 10]

=> 18x - 44 = 190 - 8x = > x = 9

8x - 10 + 13y - 38 = 180 (supplementary angles)
Replacing x = 9 into the equation : 72 - 10 + 13y - 38 = 180 => y = 12

=> x = 9 ; y = 12
