Let x = total cost of the meal

Then,

Rita paid 0.34x

Laila paid 1/5x

Mark paid x - (0.34x + 1/5x)

= x - (17/20x)

= 3/20x

Therefore, Mark paid 3/20 of the total cost of the meal.

As a percentage, this is 3/20 x 100 = 15%.

Therefore, Mark paid 15% of the total cost of the meal.

Let total cost of the meal = 100

Rita pays 0.34 * 100 = 34

Laila pays 1/5 * 100 = 20

Therefore, Mark pays 100 - 34 - 20 = 46
