Is reading fiction better than reading nonfiction? I just need help forming an opinion. It's for my essay's introduction...

Answer:

Reading fiction and nonfiction can go both ways, fiction has a tendency to make you picture a world within your mind that has the image that the author wishes you to see.

Nonfiction however shows you the true nature of history or facts that people in fantasy writing like to embellish, nonfiction books especially history books tell the true facts of past experiences of people that shaped you to what your life is today.

I prefer fiction because it allows me to imagine a world outside my own whether by the words of another author or my own writings.
