The value of X and y of the given congruent shapes would be;

For question 1.)

x = 7.5

Y= 4

For question 2.)

x= 20

y = 11

For question 3.)

x= 36

y = 4.

For question 4.)

x= 13½

y= 8

How to calculate the missing values of the given congruent shapes?

To calculate the value of the given congruent shapes the following steps should be taken as follows:

For question 1.)

Given that

ABCD ≈ FGDC

BA = GF

That is;

3y+2 = 14

3y = 14-2

y = 12/3

y = 4

Also

∠A = ∠F

91° = 4x+21

4x = 91-21

X = 70/4

X = 17.5

For question 2.)

Angle B = Angle G

108⁰ = 3(x+16)

= 3x +48

3x = 108-48

= 60

x = 60/3

= 20

Also;

Line AB = line FG

2y-1 = 21

2y = 21+1 = 22

y = 22/2

= 11

For question 3.)

Solving for x:

Given that;

ABCD ≈ FGDC

A = E

3x-2 = 2.5x+16

3x-2.5x = 16+2

0.5x = 18

x = 18/0.5 = 36

Solving for y:

11.2y+4.1 = 3.7y+34.1

11.2y-3.7y = 34.1-4.1

7.5y = 30

y = 30/7.5 = 4

For question 4.)

Angle A = Angle F

6x +11 = 8(x-2)

6x +11 = 8x-16

6x-8x = -16-11

2x = 27

x = 27/2

= 13½

Also;

line F K = line AE

¼y + 6 = ¾y+2

¼y-¾y = 2-6

-½y = -4

y = -2×-4

= 8
