The radius of the outer circle is 17 so you put that in the formula to find the area of a circle and solve to get 153.86 squared meters as the final answer. The radius of the inner circle is 7 because it shows that the upper part of the circle is 10 and the whole thing is 17, so you do 17-10 to get 7 as the radius. Then put it in the formula and get the final answer as 907.46 squared meters.
