Consider the line y=2x-1.

What is the slope of a line parallel to this line?
- What is the slope of a line perpendicular to this line?

A Parallel line will have the same slope so it will be 2

A perpendicular line will be m1 xm2 =-1
So m2=-1/2 (m is the slope)
