find the mean and standard deviation for each uniform continuous model-
U(3, 12) mean: 7.5
U(80, 250) mean: 165
U(4, 93) mean: 48.5

i need the standard deviations for each round to the 4 decimal place

The standard deviation of the uniform distribution is:

  • σ=(b−a)/√12

U(3, 12)

  • σ = (12−3)/√12 = 9/√12 = 2.5981

U(80, 250)

  • σ = (250−80)/√12 = 170/√12 = 49.0748

U(4, 93)

  • σ = (93−4)/√12 = 89/√12 = 25.6921
