To find the equation that goes through this you first want to find the slope.

Take the difference of the rise over run.

Change in Y = 11-(-2) = 13
Change in X = 1-1 = 0

This gives you a slope that is undefined because the line is vertical.

To clarify, however, you do not need to find the slope in this instance as you can tell by the points/coordinates that X is constant between both points.

Therefore, your equation is simply x= 1
