for speed in mph and d stands for distance in feet. What distance will you slide if your car is traveling at a speed of

s = 50d + 25


55 = 50d + 25


55 - 25 = 50d + 25 - 25


30 = 50d


(30)/(50) = (50d)/(50)


0.6 = d

Your car would slide a distance of 0.6 feet.
