volume of the solution is 275 ml, what will the molarity of the solution be?

1) list givens and convert if necessary

C₁ = 3.50 mol/L

V₁ = 0.550 L

C₂ = ?

V₂ = 0.275 L

2) rearrange formula


C_(1)V_(1)=C_(2)V_(2)\\\\C_(2)=(C_(1)V_(1))/(V_(2))

3) solve


C_(2)=((3.50\ mol/L)(0.550\ L))/((0.275\ L))

C₂ = 7.00 mol/L
