You want to started with an attention getter. Example, “John Keats was a romantic poet that died at the age of 25.” Write a couple of sentences about your topic or something interesting about it. then the last sentence is going to frame your essay and state your point. THIS is the thesis (random essay example) “John Keats was the best romantic poet (the point of the essay) because he was successful while only living until 25 (point/paragraph 1,) has some of the most iconic poems from
the time period (point/paragraph 2,)and made successful works other than plays (point/paragraph 3.) The end of your essay should never say “To conclude” this sounds bad. Instead say: All in all ... or With everything considered ... All in all John keats was considered one of the best and most influential poets of our time (restate thesis here) and that’s is for the conclusion. Just give a sentence or two and then RESTATE YOUR THESIS IN THE CONCLUSION. Do not make your conclusion too wordy, or add too much information because it makes your essay seem like the body is not full, and it will also make it seem rushed at the end. Hope this helps! :))
