The base and corresponding height of a parallelogram are 75 cm and 25 cm. If the other base is 50 cm, find out its corresponding height.

Height of the parallelogram = 37.5 cm

Explanation:

As given,

Base of a parallelogram = 75 cm

Height of a parallelogram = 25 cm

As,

we know that

Area = Base × Height

= 75 × 25

= 1875 cm²

As the parallelogram is same

So, Area = Base × Height

1875 = 50 × Height

⇒ Height =
(1875)/(50) = 37.5 cm

So, we get

Height of the parallelogram = 37.5 cm
