The size of p, q and r from the regular polygon ABCDE is 108°, 72° and 72° respectively.

What is the size of p, q and r?

Measure of each interior angle = [(n – 2) × 180°]/n

= {(5-3)×180°} / n

= 3×180° / n

= 540°/5

= 108°.

So,

p = 108°

q = 108° - 36°

= 72°

r = 180° - 108° (sum of angles on a straight minus interior angle of a polygon)

r = 72°
