5x+2y-16=0 (general form)

y= -5/2 x+8 (slope intercept form)

Explanation:

y-y1/x-x1 = y2-y1/x2-x1 ( formula)

y+2/x-4 = 3+2/2-4

y+2/x-4 = 5/-2

-2 (y+2) = 5 (x-4)( cross multiply)

-2y-4 = 5x-20

-2y = 5x-20+4

-2y = 5x-16

5x+2y-16 = 0 (general form )

OR

y = -5/2 x -16/-2yyyyx

y = -5/2 x + 8
