y = mx + b(we substitute the "x" and "y" points into this general formula)

-6 = -2 (1) + b ( multiply "-2" by "1" and obtain the answer itself "-2")

(+ 2) -6 = -2 + b (+ 2)( then we add "2" on both side so the right side will be left with only "b". and "-6 + 2 = -4")

-4 = b( we substitute this answer in the general formula we've written )

y= -2x -4
