A box is 14 in. high, 18 in. Long, and 6 in. wide. What is the longest poster you could fit in the box? Use pencil and paper. Explain why you can only fit one maximum-length poster in the box but you can fit multiple 22-in. posters in the same box

Answer:22 Hope This Helps You :DD

Explanation:

We will have the following:

First, we calculate the maximum length of a poster that can fit in:

l=
\sqrt14^(2) +18^(2) =2\sqrt130 =22.8035

So, the maximum length a poster can fit in is 22.80350885... inches.

Since the maximum ca only be fit once (Since it wil have the length of the diagonal of the box) and that in greater than 22 inches, we will have that multiple smaller 22 inch posters can be fit in.
