a. The relationship between G and S is S= K /G ( option C)

b. The value of S when G is 4 is 2.1

Inverse variation is represented by the equation k = yx . This means that as x is increasing y is decreasing and vice versa.

When S is 7 and G is 1.2 then the value of K will be

K = 1.2 × 7

k = 8.4

a. Therefore the relationship between G and S

is

S = K/G

S = 8.4/G

b. When G is 4

S = 8.4/4

S = 2.1

Therefore the value of x is 2.1
