If 3 liters are poured from each container into an empty bucket, 12 liters of water are in the bucket.

Water in each container: We know the initial volume in each container:

Container 1: 4 liters

Container 2: 8 liters

Container 3: 6 liters

Container 4: 10 liters

Water poured into the bucket: From each container, 3 liters are poured into the empty bucket.

Calculating the total water: Now, we need to add the water poured from each container:

Total water = Water from container 1 + Water from container 2 + Water from container 3 + Water from container 4

Total water = 3 liters + 3 liters + 3 liters + 3 liters

Total water = 12 liters

Therefore, after pouring 3 liters from each container, the empty bucket will have 12 liters of water.

Complete question:

Four containers hold 4 liters, 8 liters, 6 liters, and 10 liters of water respectively. If 3 liters are poured from each container into an empty bucket, how much water is in the bucket?
