The salaries of A and B are in the ratio of 8 : 3. The salaries of A and C are in the ratio of 5 : 12. Express the salaries of A,B and C in the form of ratio.

To form A:B:C ratio easily, we need salary of B to be same in both A:B and B:C formations, but it is not. So, to make it same, we can multiply it with a suitable number.

A:B= 8:3=(8*5:3*5)= 40:15

B:C=5:12=(5*3:12*3)= 15:36

therefore, A:B:C= 40:15:36
