Explanation:

There are several methods you could use to calculate slope, but when a graph is provided, I prefer to use "rise over run". We can clearly see that the graph is moving in a positive direction, so we know our slope is going to be positive. We can also see that they've plotted two points for us to use. If we are to go from (-2, 1) to (4, 5), we will have to go up 4, and move right 6.

4/6 simplifies to 2/3
