lets say that x = width of the rectangle
and x+3= length of the rectangle

34= 2x + 2(x+3)
34=2x+2x+6
34=4x+6
34-6=4x
4x=28
x=7

So,
width= 7m
length= 7+3 = 10

Area= width * length = 7*10 = 70
m^(2)
