What are structural isomers?
In organic chemistry, structural isomers are molecules with the same molecular formula but different atom arrangements. Stated differently, structural isomers share the same number and kinds of atoms but differ in the ways that they are bonded to one another.
As a result, there are variations in structural or constitutional arrangements, which give rise to unique chemical and frequently physical properties.
