The slope-intercept form of a line is: y=mx+b where m is the slope and b is the y-intercept.
The y-intercept is always where the line intersects the y-axis, and will always appear as (0,b) in coordinate form.

Explanation:

Slope is the ratio of the vertical and horizontal distances between two points on a line.

Y-intercept is a point at which a line crosses the y-axis of a Cartesian grid.

Hope it will help :)
