Answer:

a) x =18

b) x=2

c) x=3

Explanation:

Step(i):-

a)

Given that
(x-2)^{(1)/(4) }

put x = 18

(18-2)^{(1)/(4) } = (2^(4) )^{(1)/(4) } = 2

(x-2)^{(1)/(4) } =2

b)

put x= 2

(1-x)^{(1)/(3) } = (1-2)^{(1)/(3) } = (-1)^{(1)/(3) } = -1

(1-x)^{(1)/(3) } = -1

c)

put x=3

\sqrt{x^(2) +7} = \sqrt{3^(2) +7} = √(16) = 4

\sqrt{x^(2) +7}= 4
