The volumes of these two cylinders are equal.

If another cross section is taken at a different height, the areas of the cross sections will not be equal.

The volume of a regular cylinder is calculated using the following formula:

Volume = π * r^2 * h

where:

π is a mathematical constant with an approximate value of 3.14

r is the radius of the cylinder

h is the height of the cylinder

The volume of an oblique cylinder is calculated using the same formula, even though the cylinder is not standing straight up. This is because the volume of a cylinder depends only on the area of the base and the height, not on the orientation of the cylinder.

Since the two cylinders have the same radius and height, they must have the same volume.

If another cross section is taken at a different height, the areas of the cross sections will not be equal.
